NurNur means light in Arabic.
We had in mind a wine of central Italy, but with a distinct Mediterranean character. An ancestral wine, without added sulfites, turbid and extreme. It is made from diverse biotypes of Trebbiano and Malvasia. The missing Verdicchio. A little bit of Pecorino (which in the 19th Century made it also as far as our neck of the woods). GiuliettaIn the extraordinary vintages of 2004 and 2013, the natural progression of the season gave us perfect pH and fixed acidity to make a classic method sparkling wine.
We took advantage of it, aware of the versatility of Verdicchio. However we did it our way, with years and years on the lees before disgorgement and in 2013 natural fermentation using the must of the following year. Quantity is confidential.
